adjusting the tps
Ok i went to adjust my TPS to get it at .45 at closed throttle but the lowest i can get the voltage down to is .73. The tps is turned all the way that direction and won't go any farther. If anyone has any suggestions lmk. I don't know if the spring in the sensor is bad or what. Oh yeah if it helps its b18c1 with a SKunk2 TB.

What is making you adjust the TPS to begin with? (not trying to be an ass)
What is the max voltage you can get out of it? |
Re: adjusting the tps (civic-4-ges)
i put on a skunk2 TB

Re: adjusting the tps (civic-4-ges)
at closed throttle the max voltage will go well over 1V

Ideally, you should have about 0.45V @ closed throttle and 4.5V @ WOT. Mine adjusted down fine. Are you sure you're taking the voltage on the correct wires?

This is what im wondering, it just does not seem right |
Re: (civic-4-ges)
Yeah it doesn't seem right, thats why i was seeing if anyone have any suggestions, the problem is i can't get the voltage down to .45 the tps is turned to the max and will only get to .73. I am testing the middle wire which i am almost positive is the right one.

the right wirer is the red/blue wire, yes it is in teh middle

supposed to be 5.v closed and 4.5 open. |
Re: (ty1585)
Since everything is unplugged is there any chance you might made a mistake on the connections between the TPS and MAP? The reading seems to be like from a typical MAP sensor connector instead of the TPS.

Some TPS needs to remove the metallic ring on the screw holes, so you can move the TPS a little more.
