96' integra 1.8L cranking but only starts after 5 minutes of holding gas pedal
I just replaced my fuel pressure regulator and my car is doing the same as it did before I replaced my FPR. have to hold the gas pedal down and continuously keep trying to start it until it finally starts. Could is be bad injectors or something.

Could be a leaking injector. Holding the gas down puts it in "clear flood mode" which basically turns off the injectors so you only use any residual gas that was already pumped into the cylinders. Let the car completely cool down. Turn the ignition to on, to the one where the dash lights come on, but don't try to start the car. Turn the ignition off. Pull the spark plugs. Smell them for fuel. If one of them smells then you have a leaking injector.
It could also be a bad ignition system. Maybe you need a set of tuneup parts, cap, rotor, plugs.

I just put brand new wires on and the distributor isn't even a month old, fuel pump is engaging but should I look towards the injectors? Where should I look first

Check fuel pressure.
Try this, turn ign. on and wait until fuel pump stops priming, turn ign. off and repeat, do this 3-4 times before trying to start the engine, [do not step on the gas pedal] any difference? 94
