1000-1500 rpm "choking"

At 1000-1500 rpm my car "chokes" likes its turning on and off...if I give a bit too much gas...its chokes if i dont it doesnt. Im thinking its my distributor cap..either that or plugs and wires right?

it might be the ecu?? did this problem happen before install of ecu. also check your spark plug wires for the right cylinder match up
