when using xdrilled rotors....
 
oem pads will work just fine right. Carbon material pads arent neccesary?

Better not to use X drilled rotors, and you could run an OEM pad but a good pad will do way more then some rotors esp X drilled. http://images.honda-tech.com/set1//smile/emcrook.gif

this is nonhonda related but sometimes its easier gettin answers on this forum about general stuff becuase there are so many users. What im doin is a "budget" bbk on my GS300. Supra TT calipers, stoptech xdrilled/slotted rotors, goodridge lines, and OEM toyota pads. I know some people have had experience with xdrilled/slotted cracking......and after i purchased them I thought It might be better to go with just slotted but owell, If I have any issues Ill switch that later. Im just wondering would it be better to use carbon pads instead of OEM, or does it matter that much. Its already goin to be a big improvment over the stock GS calipers (more pistons/bigger diameter)

You can use whatever pads you like.
