What are the best shocks?

i have an EJ with stock shocks on dropzone coilovers, so im trying to get different shocks to use with the dropzones and get different coilovers in a few months.
so what are some good shocks??
i was thinking Skunk2, Tokico Illuminas etc..

so i could get illuminas and later for coilover, will ground control be a good idea??
