Re: type r and gsr lower control arms (RabbittZ)
If you want to retain your existing LCAs for a brake swap or something like that, then yes you will be fine.
If you are trying to replace your GSR LCAs with Type R LCAs (or vice versa), you will have to use the matching shocks as well. The only difference is the way the rear shocks attach. Other than that mechanical difference, they are geometrically identical... What is it exactly that you are trying to accomplish (and on what car)??? |
alrighty, thanks. thats what i thought.
just to fill ya in. its type r brakes with gsr control arms, so that i can keep my current suspention. thanks again! |

Re: (RabbittZ)
I read in a few other threads that they were different lengths...but noone seemed to know for sure. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emdgust.gif Arguing about EG/GSR/ITR interchangeability. Are they all the same lengths?
|
im guessing yes. if you can put gsr's on a eg and then put type r's on a gsr, they should all be interchangeable?
|
Re: (RabbittZ)
They are ALL interchangable. If you use Type R rear LCAs, you must use Type R style rear shocks (thats the only difference). Only the 96-00 civics have different length rear LCAs (they are longer and therefor not interchangable).
