Progress coilovers -- dust boots?

Progress coilovers -- dust boots?
Just got my Progress coilovers in the mail yesterday
I understand that Progress doesn't ship them with dust boots because the typical dust boot is for too long a shock and doesn't fit with Progress' design.
Are all of you Progress owners out there rolling without dust boots? I could buy some and cut them to fit, or go without. Just want to make sure I'm doing this right...

For some reason I always though you had those coilovers. Try PM'ing AMR Andy my coilovers have dust boots but I'm not sure if the OD are the same.

I guess you could modify some boots if you feel so inclined. I don't see it affecting anything. I've been running mine for a while and hadn't noticed any negative issues from not having them installed.

We stock various dust boost sizes for our coilovers. If you provide me the shock shaft diameter I can provide something that will fit no problem.

I do not run boots either, not sure why you "have" to.
FYI: When I removed the stock boots and shocks they both had dust and crap all over them so I doubt the boot did anything.

Yeah it seems like a lot of people get away with it no problem. On the other hand roads and weather aren't great where I live and I want my shocks to last as long as possible :/
Andy at AMR is trying to help me figure something out. I'll keep everyone posted.

That dust and crap you're talking about is most likely your bump stops disintegrating after 10-15yrs +
