Opinions For Shock/Strut '94 Civic EX
Purchasing a 1994 (5th gen) Civic EX coupe this weekend. It has a B20 swap engine and it's currenly lowered to 1.5" above tires. The owner said he purchased it three years ago and was told by the previous owner that it's lowering spings (unknown brand) and not coilovers. I know little about shocks/struts other than originals for this car is KYB brand and lowering springs aren't the best option compared to coilovers. My son lowered my 2007 Mazda 3 with a set of Koni St.r' (streets/orange) with H&R springs and those made a significant improvement over the stock KYB's on that car. I like the present height (1.5') and do not plan to lower it further. I found this: Civic (1992-1995) Koni STR.T Kit 1120 8631 (strut/shock/springs) and wondering if there's better coilover options for near the same price?
Car will be used for daily driver only and no intention of modifying engine. Hoping for slightly stiffer than stock ride, little to no bounce, minimal bottoming out.
