I've been looking for the same thing for my 97' SH. I plan on doing a little more research but I'm thinking on going with the Tein basic. Granted they aren't cheap but I want a nice drop (not dumped) , would like to keep the ride the same. Going on the cheap end I would get stock or replacement bilstein dampners, think they are about 400 for all 4 wheels.

The SH from what I've heard is pretty dialed in. I wouldnt want to mess with the suspension much. I've thought about picking one up, and I figured Id either do koni reds/ stock springs, on the lower perch (.75" drop) or if the shocks were good, tein h techs. Mild drop and rate. 1" or so

If it's a pure street car just get a good shock spring combo. Tokico Illumina or koni yellow with some Eibach or H&R springs...
