So, I found a set of used K-Speed Racing Suspension(coilovers) in the basement of my work place. I assumed that it's my boss's little brother because he has a track Integra and I recognized Integra forks on 2 of the coilovers. Apparently they weren't his or my boss's but my boss just sold it to me anyways. The first thing I did, I sprayed them down and brushed off all the dirt and grime that was on the threads and the spring, there were some rust on the springs. Right now, what is the next step I should take before I can slap them on besides getting rid of the rust.

I've been searching on Google and Honda-Tech. It's like K-Speeds doesn't exist.

Here is some questions I want to ask you guys.

1. Have anyone ever heard of K-Speed?

2. What is the next step I should take before installing the suspension?

3. Is there any way to check if the shocks are blown or leaking?

NOTE: I did not pay my boss yet, he said I can clean them up and see if they function before buying.

The only advice I can give you is that you should ask your boss if he has the other spanner nuts for that front strut before mounting. Looks like it's missing the 2 smaller spanner nuts.

Dang, I didn't see that. They were pretty dirty when I got them. Also, I'm guessing that you don't know what K-Speed are? That is also 1 major thing I want to find out before paying my boss.

I assume its an underrated brand from Japan. Something like BloodSports or GenKaze... correct me if I'm wrong.

I see. Was there any reviews on those underrated brands? So far the only thing I was able to dig up on K-Speed was that there is a rusting problem with them, and so the springs ARE rusting...
