Default INNER TIE ROD HELLLP!!!

car: 1995 acura integra
power steering/5speed

ok, so my passenger side tie rod/ inner tie rod is wiggling back and forth. Whenever i hit the brakes, or make a slight pass over a bump, it "knocks", and when i inpected the tie rod, it wiggles front to back, whereas the DRIVER side stays stable inside of it's boot

here's a picture of what's wiggling.

basically, i need some detailed descriptions on how to remove this and replace the inner tie rod.

thanks in advance!!

read thru these two threads. they address different problems, but the procedures are the same to separate the inner tie rod, and help seperating the outer tie rod.

So it's all easy to access from underneath the car? Or do you have to take out the splash guards inside the fender?

You can get the inner & outer tie rods and boots done with just removing the wheels only on most cars. You'll want to turn the steering wheel to get the tie rods to protrude outward toward the end you are working on.
