Default Hardrace LCAs quality?

Does anyone have any experience with Hardrace LCA's? I know their bushings are good and last like OEM. But, I wanna know if their LCA's the same?

Their bushings are IN the LCAs. That's the most critical part of the LCA.

I have the 5 piece mount set amd the motor fell because of the post mount bolts. No mount was destroyed. If its the same material, then id say go for it. Truhart also uses hardrace bushings.

I have the rear lca on my 92 civic and I think they look exactly like a set of blox lca. I just hope the bushings put up with the abuse compared to the blox I had before.

I know this thread is kinda old, but wanted to see how the Hardrace suspension pieces were holding up. Particularly the rear lca's. I got a new set for my 98 Teg for a pretty good deal, but wanted to see how they hold up. My Teg is a DD, so I can't have them failing on me spontaneously. My concern has been that I see the bushings appear to be mounted or held in with hex or Allen screws, it seems. Since I drive the car through rain, snow, etc., I don't want to find these screws rusting or failing and causing the bushings to fail or even worse, fall out. I've been considering purchasing a set of just the replacement bushings to have installed in oem lca's, but need to find a place to press them. Any insight, opinions or reviews would be very helpful and appreciated. I've searched and haven't been able to find many reviews or opinions out in the different forums.

Thanks!

Looks like for the pillowball style not sure about the standard rubber bushings.

Sure, thanks for taking a look at them. I hope that I am wrong or mistaken, but this is what it looks like to me. I have a set of PIC's that look the same.

Pics for the hardened rubber style have them as well, which is what I have. I've read that pillowball style are more for racing, hardened rubber was more for street driving.

Thanks again!

Don't see an issue with this design as long as you have applied loctite to the threads.

Thanks grumblemarc...

I was doing some more poking around today and these Allen type screws are used in the lca's as a simple way to replace the bushings when they go bad or rather are used up and ready to be replaced. If I use loctite, do you think I'll run into a problem loosening the screws when the time comes to replace the bushings?

Thanks and again, appreciate the knowledge!

You can use blue which is low temp. If you use a red high temp loctite a propane torch applied to the bolt will allow it to come right out. Basically heating the loctite itself releases it.

Are the holes for the end link threaded? Or do you have to nut it?

They are not threaded, you need a nut. I have not installed them yet. The middle hole seems to be at the same spot as oem and the stock bolt fits in it perfectly.

In case anyone's interested, I weighed them and they are about 2 pounds lighter than stock.

My old bushings were busted up pretty bad.
