I'm wondering myself which to go with. If I can't get a straight answer I might have to pony up the $$ and go with the Mugen ones.

i would go with these before others mentioned. I heard many stories about how crapy energy bushings are. http://picperformance.com/store/scri...?idProduct=233

Basicly depends on your cars purpose. I prefer hard rubber but i'm learning to do road race as well daily. I feel everything on the road.

Re: hardrace bushings or energy suspension or other?
I just ordered the Hyper-Flex master kit for the front of my Accord by Energy suspension and their prothane upper + lower rear bushing kit. Ran me about $250. I am installing my suspension Friday and will try to update and what not.
Note that enery suspension has black and red bushings. Most of the black ones have graphite. Be sure to use plenty of polygrease lube.

Re: hardrace bushings or energy suspension or other?
I just finished installing a complete front end suspension install. New ES poly bushings, new oem ball joints, new koni shocks, I reused the oem springs, new bearings, tie rods, and bear rotors.
I only drove it around the block but the car sure as hell feels like less body roll. Feels more planted. until i get my lose ends fixed on the car i wont know how it truly handles

I just put a Suja 1 hard rubber kit into an EF sedan, nice stuff I must say, and it fit like a charm. The mugen stuff is nice, but way over priced seeing as how there are other companies vying for the market.

Re: hardrace bushings or energy suspension or other?
after one year with energy suspension in my front lower control arms i switched all the parts to my new car including those control arms and there wasnt any cracks or signs of wearing. now after two years the bushings are still holding up.
ps i only had squicking for a few days of driving

lot of it is BS started by people selling-pushing rubber bushings. the energy kit does have a few hickups but it also has a few perks. up front you have to shim the rear bushing in order to not reduce caster. the trailing arm bushings are a love - hate with people. on the upside, the energy bushings are MUCH easier to install the any press fit rubber. the energy stuff you can install with a simple shop vise. rubber is a mandatory 20+ ton press

Damn talk about grave diggin. Like DavidR posted there is a post in the auto cross section where the posters bushings failed after one year in a track only car. But the upside that the kit is fairly cheap and easy to install so paying $125 every year isn't that bad for fresh bushings.

i've read about similar. can't figure out why they fail so badly on some people. i have beat the hell out of energy bushings in various cars for the past 10 years with no failures. i mean, if you're doing something to break up poly that bad....what makes you think rubber is going to live?
