got my omnipower coilovers!
i'm so excited to get them on once the weather clears up. the craftsmanship on these coilovers look superb. btw i got the street set up (10k/ 8k) since my car is daily driven. one question i have is, how hard is it to loosen the top nut to preload the spring? i was wondering whether i had to use a spring compressor or not? but anyway, here are the pics..
btw i ordered the rear LCAs and i may be selling them, so i was wondering if any of you guys would be interested?

To answer one of the question's, DEFFINITLY use a spring compressor, or else when you take it off, it will go like a rocket.

no need to use a spring compressor. follow the directions on the instructions.

you don't disassemble the old units. you just remove and replace.

loosen that top 19mm bolt till its flush with the top of the shaft. raise the higher perch as high as you can. Use the lower perch to adjust ride height. put car on the ground and tighten the 19mm bolt as tight as you can. Done.

you can take it off w/o spring compressor just put a towel over it and aim away from head! But you can rent one at autozone for like $10

are you sure it's ten bucks?? When i rented one, I had to pay full price which was like 45 bucks and then you get your money back when you return the compressor.

why do you need a compressor? these are just unbolt stock/whatever in the car, then put in the new ones.. no need to take anything part?

Hey mr. kteller, it seems like the people yapping on this thread about a spring compressor has never seen, touched or owned any shock body adjustable set up.
To anybody looking for a set of these, get them from Kteller. Smoothest transactions ever

oh no, i wasn't saying that I used the spring compressor for the omni coilovers. I was just stating that when i rented it from autozone it was more then 10 bucks.
