GC and tokico blues. help
well, im going to build a DC for just autocross.
I am a college student who are pretty broke.
and i want to set up a great suspension.
i used to have a eg.
at first i have some cheap $50 2nd hand, no brand coilovers.
they are really stiff, but for some reason, they dont have much of a body roll when I go into a turn in autocross.
and i switch to ibach sportline, and some non blown 4 years tokico blues. when i go to autocross with it, i felt so much more body roll then before.
can anyone explain it to me.
and what kind of sespension should i get this time?
i dont mind getting 2nd spring, but for shocks i might want to go for brand new
i planning to spend maybe $400 - $500
and cheaper it is, the better.
thanks

Trow your Blues in the garbage. They can handle even less spring then stock shocks and after 4 years they are most likely useless.
Sportlines are softer and progressive, it's only natural they would give you more body roll than some unknown threaded sleeve coil-overs (especially on shitty Tokicos). Shocks have their part in controlling body roll too but it's the spring's only job to resist compression.
Body roll is not all there is to handling ; Body control is just as important, if not more. Keep your Sportlines and get some KYB AGX if you are budget minded. That should eliminate some body roll and help a whole lot with body control. Then if your still not satisfied start looking for some used OEM sway bars to take care of the rest.

GC + AGX's! Best bang for the buck brother, talk to Josh at GC and explain your situation in order to get the appropriate spring rates.
