Function & Form Preload

i jus wanna assure this. whats the worst that can happen with my suspension when i release the preloads. i jus let off about 1/4 inch. im not gonna hurt my setup am i?????

Why would you change the preload? Just use the lower portion to adjust the ride height and adjust the dampening from there.

the worst that could happen is youll bottom out the shock rod and damage the piston internally.

will it? i dunno. its all crap anyway.

cant the same be said on other coilovers that are height adjusted by the preloads i.e. ground control, tein ss, etc..
