Default Front brakes locking up

Just purchased a 08 CR-V - 2WD - Auto - 3 weeks ago.
My problem:
The front brakes start to drag at first then lock up altogether.
Leave the car overnight and it returns to normal, until you drive it again.
Changed the left front brake hose, thinking that was the problem.
Cleaned and lubricated calipers and slide pins
Replaces the brake booster and the brake booster hose with the inline check valve from the recycling yard.
Pulled the fuse for the ABS no change.
Replaced brake fluid.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know if anything else on the brakes was replaced recently where the problem showed up afterwards? I had an issue on my 2000 Civic hatch race car, where when I put on new rotors (Fastbrake 11" 2 piece rotors of width 1"), the front brakes started grabbing really badly. I took a closer look, and the rotors weren't centered quite well enough in the caliper brackets and the problem didn't appear with the worn rotors but did with the new full thx rotors. The final solution after getting thru that weekend was to get the brackets (ITR/Honda V6) designed for the 1" width rotors instead of the smaller brackets the car came with. Bottom line, is were the brakes working fine and the problem only showed up after some part was changed/replaced? Also, go ahead and take a look to see how well the rotors are centered in the caliper brackets. - Jim

Hi Jim, Thanks for your reply. The brakes were working fine on the drive test. The problem started a day or two after I purchased the car. Front wheels locked up. I am going to do another brake bleed on the weekend and see if that changes anything.

Make sure the master cylinder and brake booster are both correct for each other. If you have an abs master cylinder and non abs booster then this can happen. I had this happen on a previous car when I mixed up boosters between project cars. Brakes went full lock up on the test drive and had to crack open the brake line to relieve the pressure to get home.

It's the master and booster spacing .You used the wrong mc, or it wasn't set right .
