Now I've been in the market for something with dampening adjustability to adhere to any conditions I encounter. Now the car is a dc2 fully built gsr gt35r turbo hoping for 650hp all said an done. For now I'm aiming for 450-550 an I've been in a car with d2s an loved them but I can't find what springs rates they come with. Now I always dreamed of having PIC selects when I was younger an can finally afford them, I was thinking 12kF an 14kR as car will be driven on the drag strip on occasion but mostly street driven. Also torn between the fortune auto 500 which seems to be better deal since I can get them for around the same price as the PICs an they offer a 5 yr warranty. I'm torn between 10kF an 12kR an 12kF an 14kR for the fortunes with their springs not the swifts as its not an auto cross car. I'm just scared to bite the bullet on pics or fortunes due to them not being as popular compared to the d2s. I've read the review on PICs but haven't seen any on fortunes for DC/eg Chasis. I'd rather spend extra money for better quality an customer service. Amr engineering was on my list until I read some horror stories, I'm really looking for a company who takes pride in their work an stands behind it an seems like fortune auto is best option but just not enough reviews or feedback on em. Any help/info is appreciated!

PIC are pretty tried and true. The Type R crowd loves them and the set on a friends EF are awesome. Also PIC makes a drag specific rear coilover, which is probably worth looking into.

I have a set of pic select on my ek. They are awesome. 12/10 for track purposes only. Hardly see daylight of street use. On soft, they are still a little hard for the street, but just fine for the track. They have a few different options to choose from. 10/8 would be ideal for street use. 12/14 or even 16 is what they recommend for a drag setup.

Koni/gc is another popular and solid setup. It also saves you a couple dollars if you don't get custom rates/valving.

Have you looked at Tein's street flex? I'd want something spring rates around 8K or so at most if it was just a street car.

I have a friend with an Evo 9 that swears by Fortune Auto's, also their customer service has been great to him (2 blown front shocks, replaced with most recent generation coilovers to help with rebuild cost, only charged him $200 USD + blown coilovers sent back).

I personally am going to go with PIC for my EF. I've heard great things for years about their coilover and am curious to see how they've stood the test of time.
