what a F'ing hack job... click on the "Photo" for any application and it shows you the same pic, be it Honda, Acura, Toyota, whatever.

Yeah and the "Acura" link takes you to the list of Hondas with the NSX being the only Acura listed.

I wouldn't touch them without seeing shock dynos.

Just take a look at the guy's post. He said most of the adjustment "points" are useless. The dyno chart seems to have the compression and rebound notations reversed from those shown in the shock dyno thread here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes-54/%5Bfaq%5D-shock-dynos-1104049/ so it's a bit confusing. I'm not sure which on that chart is actually the compression and rebound readings.

If the top half of the chart is actually the compression readings, then they are **** poor compared even to just an off-the-shelf Koni Sport damper.

Alright, thanks man. I always like to do research on if a product is good or garbage before I think about buying it. Probably a good thing.

Just to address this, the shock is built for a lot of comfort and absorbing the imperfections (actually allowing the damper to do its job). It doesn't rely on the spring to handle short comings.

As far as the photos on the site, I have a flash site being made, and that's a simple "temporary home" webpage. Once I signed on a web designer, it didn't seem worthwhile to put hours and hours into the site. The Honda application list is one of the biggest, so it takes the most time.

There's not going to be much comfort with 800 lb and 450 lb f/r springs, I don't care how the shock is built.

If you're going by the site, that information was thrown up quickly...what kind of car are you looking at? 94 Integra I'm guessing - 571F/ 343R (10k/6k). Like I said, I need to go through and fix a lot on the Honda page.

Me, no I don't build them. I am simply DGR's US Importer. They are made in our factory which is in the Shengang District of Taichung City in Taiwan. I have no problem answering questions...I'm about as honest as a person as you could want.

No problem, I wont hide anything. No sense being dishonest and looking foolish.

Honestly, they'll all be very very similar in this weight range. The DGR shock has a bias on rebound; thus we don't rely on a heavy spring to do that work load. This gives you a more comfortable ride (some say too soft on the street version). I really need to get the Honda product on the new site; I've been slacking in that department. I'm a one man show right now and I'm more than over whelmed.

I'll tell you, the one thing that separates my brand from others is the dyno chart. No one that I've seen has one like this. Everyone says "oh its just different colors, it just a Ksport/ Megan/ BC...but the dyno proves other-wise. I'm also not the cheapest, but my lifetime warranty makes up for that.

I'll post some DGR Honda Race cars (92-95 Civic HB, RSX, etc.) - cool o n track photos!

Other company's cough cough Black Works cough cough, aren't nearly as honest as you are. After likely close to year of promising shock dyno's and other other information they still have not posted anything. We have also been given dang near every reason why they haven't been posted.
The rep also likes to just vanish, and then pop up a month or two later and act like we have all forgot.

I have no experience with your product, but for actually coming back and be willing to answer questions.

Yeah, I feel why lie, then you have to remember the lie, people think less of you and your product, etc. Once you loose credibility, its hard to get that back. They'll either be ok with the truth - or not, but have respect for you. Seems like a good way to do business.

...and for the record, they are not D2, Ksport, etc. with different springs. DGR makes DGR...no one makes DGR and DGR doesn't make kits for anyone else. Full threaded body coilovers can't really look all the different. Of course they'll be different colors, that's brand recognition. I was basically being called a liar, so I wanted to put that out there.

If you took a pile of coilovers, peeled the labels and shot in black and white, of course they'd look the same...just sucks having to say the same thing over and over again. I should copy text to my wordpad on the laptop...CTRL+V all day long...

I responded in post 15 that the valving is going to be relatively similar across the board. I could do one (give me a specific kit you'd want to see first) - but it wont be much different than the plots already posted.

okay, I see the website has been reworked. But I don't see where any dyno charts have already been posted.

Oh I see...

Post three has the two different dynos. Street and Track. Its for a Miata, which on a EK would be very similar weight for instance. I think same 6 or 7" shock specs too.

...and yeah, reworked the site with the Honda/ Acura section last night! ;-)
