del sol subframe...HELP
so i was working on my car yesterday and iam in the process of stripping my car for paint and i was taking off my h brace on my del sol and i got one bolt out from the drivers side but the when i went to take the one out of the passenger side it would just spin and iam talking about the bolt that goes through the front control arm where you put the h brace....so we ended up finding out that the nut that is welded in side the subframe is loose and i dont know what to do now..... do i cut a little hole in the sub frame and reweld the nut back in and weld the hole after iam done...or just get a diffrent subframe.??????????please help

Can you fit a wrench in there to hold the nut in place so you can get the bolt removed?
I'm not exactly sure which bolt you are talking about, can you get a picture or diagram? |

That happen to me, too. For some reason, I heard the 'welds" on the del Sol's are weak when removing at the subframe. What I ended up doing is...cut a hole to fit my box-end wrench in there from keeping it from spinning...voila! It came out. Make sure the hole you made on the metal is covered with "Self-etching Primer". Or else it'll get rusted. Good luck.
