creak when coming to a slow stop or starting
Hi there
My 89 civic makes a creak when stopping/starting. It seems to be when the weight shifts to the back once I've stopped. It is not a brake squeal, it sounds suspension related.
Recently replaced: OEM LCA bushings front and rear, upper and lower ball joints, full UCA with bushings, rack end bushing.
I'm using an ESP traction bar with heim joints mounted to the bottom of the control arm.
F&F Type 2 coilovers.
Brakes have all been recently done.
RTA bushings are solid, they've been replaced in the past couple years.
I'm leaning towards the upper shock mounts. Is there a good way to test this?
Looking for some input/feedback so I can troubleshoot before buying parts.

Wedge a peice of wood between the seat and brake pedal to activate the brake.
Have someone push/rock the car back and forth while you look for the noise.
Or use a breaker bar on the axle nut (not lug nut) to rock the car.
Did you replace the ball joints with ones from Honda? Or just aftermarket?

Take a wheel off, jack or otherwise lift from the LCA on each side, see if you can pinpoint it that way? Just sounds like an old strut somewhere
