I bought them directly from PIC/Suja.

I need to call them about a money difference.

They should be able to send you a replacement, especially if you ordered from PIC. I got mine from Suja1 Motoring and found the customer service to be excellent at dealing with a problem I caused. PIC is a different organization but I would think they would want to help you sort this out...

The last time I dropped my uca's I got some mad at the ball joints I said **** it. Stuck the breaker bar in there and jumped on it. Damn thing just didn't want to budge.

That only works for '94 - '01 Integras and '92 - '95 Civics. It doesn't work for '96 - '00 Civics or '97 - '01 CR-Vs, they use a different style UCA.

I think overall the EG/DC is a better design, but they both have pros and cons. EG/DC you need to remove the shock. EK/CR-V you need to remove the battery and maybe the airbox to get at the bolts, but you don't need to touch the shocks.

You have to remove the battery, intake "should" be ok, and you have to fight the master cylinders and the harness on the driver side.
It was a pain in the *** when I did my bushings. I'd glady remove the shocks to not have to deal with fighting that bolt.

I guess the bigger upside to the EK design is you don't have to mess with the lower ball joint or tie rod end which hadn't really occurred to me until just now.

Yes, you have to separate the lower ball joint and tie rod end to get the shock out. (if you live in a southern state you might be able to get the bolt that holds the shock fork to the shock out and maybe you wouldn't, but that isn't an option here, need to remove the through bolt that goes through the LCA) Also means you need to remove the axle nut.
One second though maybe it's not such a great design after all.
