Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
I'm considering this bushing kit for my daily driver since I've read the Energy Suspension kit squeaks quite a bit. It is hard rubber and is supposed to be 20-40% stiffer than stock. I'm planning on using H&R OE springs and Tokico blues which will lower the car about an inch.
Do you think this will be comfortable for a daily driver (no track use, etc)? Also, it says the rear LCA bushings are not compatible, so would I need to buy 4 OEM bushings from Majestic?
Here's the links:

I need 4 of #21 in the pic right?

Re: Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
I've been driving on the PIC hard bushing kit for a little over a year now. I have never rode in a car with the Poly bushings so I can't tell you how much of a difference there is between the two. All I can tell you is that my car is responsive and doesn't knock your teeth out over bumps. My suspension is all new but stock except for the bushings. Nothing squeaks. I would buy this kit again.
As for the rear LCA bushings being incompatible, I assume you have an 88? Everything fit perfectly on my 90 Si.
Buy a press and find a friend with a whole crapload of sockets to press with. I would never do bushings without a press, a torch, PB blaster and alot of cuss words.
Edit: Also, my car lost the whole feeling like it's gonna kill you at speeds over 50mph thing. No clunks, wobbles or wandering anymore after the kit. New shocks helped alot, too.

Re: Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
I installed the PIC/SONEM bushings into my ITR rear lower control arms from my EG so I think the kit will still work entirely. That may be a disclaimer as "CYA policy" on PIC's part.

I've never had any experience with the PIC kit, but I am told it's great. I do have ES bushings in the car curently.
What I can tell, they do not squeak. Assuming you keep them lubed/clean. Yes, they can be a pita simply for that reason.
I have them in the both front control arms, and the trailing arm, you definetly will feel a diference with them.
I do want the PIC kit simply beucase it's hard rubber and it replaces all bushings. I say go for the PIC bushings! As a plus, they are cheaper then hardrace. IIRC the PIC bushings are a bit harder.

Re: Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
PIC bushings are 85A and HardRace are 75A. OEM and Mugen kits have varying hardness depending upon the bushing.
If you install the PIC bushings you will definitely notice that the car is far more "together" than it is now. There is a noticeable change in responsiveness, and a *slight* increase in ride harshness. If ride harshness is a serious concern you might want to go with HardRace. TBH though I'm stunned at how harsh these aren't considering that 85A is quite stiff.

Re: Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
I have Energy Suspension bushings on literally everything that has a bushing... no squeaks. The red ones are just polyurethane while the black ones are graphite impregnated so they are basically self lubricating. I think a lot of hate on them is due to lack of knowledge spread from so and so heard is from this person that... For the $160 I spent to replace every bushing on my car, I have not a single complaint. Being able to feel the painted lines and cracks in the road is great! Super responsive and much longer lasting than spherical but not quite as aggressive.

I just installed that bushing kit into my car. I haven't had a chance to ride on them yet though, still waiting on my coils....!
Awesome customer service. Can't remember his name, jim maybe...
During the install I ran into a snag, Called up PIC/Suja to figured out what had happened, ended up getting 4 to many of one bushing and was lacking 4 of another..
He apologized for the mix up and two days later had the ones I needed
Great company imo

I just purchased the PIC hard rubber kit for the GSR. At $232 shipped, it was far cheaper than the Hard Race kit ($289+shipping).

lol who needs instructions?
Seriously though, hopefully it's mostly obvious and/or marked. Mine were shrink wrapped with permanent marker labels.
The little rubber donuts are for the sway bars. You may not need all of them.

Most are obvious, but none are marked. There are many that are similar. I'll just have to measure before swapping.

Re: Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
All I did was take suspension pieces off one by one and when I pressed them out I matched them up with one that looked the same from the new kit. It helps to group them together on the ground, I thought I was missing a bunch until I did.
You will also never have a harder time than installing those damn donut stabilizer bushings. My dad and I had to pry down on the bushing as we were installing the nut and those took the longest to do.
Have a second car ready for store runs for suspension bolts if it has never been apart before. My motorcycle got alot of use after several broken and seized bolts crashed the party.

Re: Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
I love my PIC bushing kit, my left front lca bushing was totally gone whis is what msde me by the kit, iirc 235ish shipped. Got all of them done little by little after hours at work. It took entirely too long to get them done, but it was tough trying to stay late/wanting to stay late, but it was well worth. It is by far one of the best things ive done to the car. So much feel, response, its well worth it!

Re: Anyone have the PIC/Suja1 bushing kit?
Indeed. It is supposed to be a 26 piece set, but they added the end link bushings (8 disks). I figured it would be the same as the Hardrace kit, but their description did not add up to 26 for me.
I come up with 22 total. Did I miscount or are the front UCA bushings (4) included? Time will tell.

UCA bushings seem to be included, I count 26 bushings.
Sol, the PIC is 26 bushings, were did you get 32?
EDIT- I didn't count the endlink things, but still not 32.
