97 civic no abs braking bleeding sequence

ok so i was always taught start with the furthest wheel then work my way to closest to the master cylinder.... but then i check honda service manual and this is what i got ..

nope
not a typo brah, thats how you need to do it. this process is best performed with a friend pump the brakes

Re: 97 civic no abs braking bleeding sequence

so this doesnt fall under the " furthest from master cylinder" rule... because the master cylinder is right next to the driver front brake... this is so wierd

the prop valve does not mix together channel A and B
there are two channels going from master cylinder to proportioning valve
lets call them channel A and channel B

channel A will split off to front left and rear right
channel B will split off to front right and rear left

when purging/bleeding the hydraulic brake system you must do each channel separately
when starting on a channel you must do the rear first

the master cylinder is on the same side as the driver's seat (obviously, right?)
start with the diagonal rear brake

bleeding/purging order:
driver's seat on left RR, FL, RL, FR
driver's seat on right RL, FR, RR, FL

I'm about to put this valve in my 2000 civic I just curious if it is accurate to where all the brake lines go thanks
