Icon5 96-00 front brake trim differences

Alright so i found this front brake kit on 1A Auto and im considering getting it but in its title it specifies EX. I have a 1997 CX hach (ek for all you non north americans). I was hoping if someone could tell me if theres a difference between the trim/ sub platforms of civic front brakes.

Unless I'm mistaken, the brakes are the same from CX to EX. The only one that differs is the 99-00 Si.You can always cross reference part numbers on any of the online dealers that sell OEM parts like hondaautomtiveparts.com.

You are mistaken. EX also had the larger brakes. The uprights are different, so you cannot just upgrade by replacing rotors and calipers either. Post a picture of you current brake setup if you are still not sure what you already have.
