07 Civic Si 4D Lowering help
Hello,
I just got a "new" used car 07 Civic Si 4D. I am planning to lower the car soon since the current suspension (springs and shocks) needs to be replaced, however, I do not know what would be best for my car.
What I am looking for:
This car is going to be my daily driver I do not want it so stiff that I can feel everything but I do want it to have something stiffer than the stock set up.
Trying to keep everything under $1200 I am happy to spend less if possible I just don't want to buy something so cheap I will have to replace it I would rather buy something that lasts.
My questions:

My questions:
- What brand and where to buy?
- What parts do you recommend?
- Coilovers or lowering springs and shocks?
- Will I need a camber kit for the front and rear?
- What do you recommend?
- Do you have any other advice on this project?

I don't really see an up-side to lowering springs anymore (no pun intended...but please feel free to point out my cleverness to your friends).
Buy a nice set of street coilovers.
Bilstein PSS9 is within the $1200-1600 range. But you can't lower them much without suffering some penalty in ride. They're zinc plated though. So even though they're fukken amazing shocks...they will rust in salt .
Tein Street Advance are simple and easy and they work/last forever. Don't buy the Flex by mistake. Probably $600-700ish?
Or Fortune Auto. These come with front camber plates in case you want to tune it later.
Buddy Club N+/Sport spec is surprisingly comfortable and last a surprising amount of time. But they will rust. COT damn, do they rust.
You don't need front camber correction. You might need rear correction.
Search around. I'm sure there are lots of great recommendations based on experience.
Not sure how available FD2-Type R assemblies are. But that would be a good improvement to handling and maybe a slight amount of drop.

Are there any other posts about lowering 2007 civic on this forum? I am new here and have not been able to find too much but I feel like I am missing something. Links anyone?
