00 integra suspension set up for heavy audio equipment?
 
hello. i have the 2000ls integra i got the pioneer primer 3000 watt speakers which are going to be installed and two amps to run all interior and rear pioneers 12's

with all this extra weight am i going to have to do anything to suspension?

what shocks and spring set up recommended for the 00 integra i want to do a 1.5 - 1.75 in drop give or take maybe more in front than rear due to weight of sount system

i want to go low budget. i figure around 500-600 for all components. what should i get?

Buy tein street basis or street advance coilovers from thmotorsports. Raise the back up higher to account for more weight.

ok i looked at the tein u suggested i like them what would i do for the top buy new top hat? or use what i have stock? is this all needed to lower 1.5 - 1.75 inches. i do not want my wheels all cocked in or out either i just want them like oem

because that isn't really enough weight to affect anything.

it is going to total around 200-300 pounds of extra weight in rear. my car sags in the back as of now with the audio components in.

200-300 LB is significant.

You'd re-use your OEM top hats with the Teins, OP. The damper adjustments on the street advance may come in handy to you. I believe they're only like $75 more than the SB's.

I know this is an old thread but I never got the coilovers, I replaced front shocks with OEM replacements. I plan to do the same with rear, but is there a spacer or something I can put on top of the shock to raise the rear a bit to prevent the sagging from my woofers. Thanks
