FS: 1995 Accord H22A, was building for Honda Challenge
Located in Yuma AZ, Asking 4k OBO. This is was my first car, and has been in my family since 2001, if you want the complete history let me know. Please read the entire add before contacting, If you still have questions I'd be more than happy to answer them. Pictures coming soon.
Was building this car for Honda Challenge (H2 Class), but found another car. This would be a perfect start for a Road Race, Autocross, or Drag car. My personal best in the quarter mile with this car was a 14.4 @ 98mph. The info and modifications are listed below.
1995 Honda Accord LX Sedan: Taffeta White, Power Windows and Locks, A/C and Power Steering (needs prelude upper power steering line and a belt) 210,XXX Miles, Rebuilt Title in hand, VIN: 1HGCD55631SA165697
Engine/Drivetrain:
JDM H22A with 5-speed transmission into the car at 170,000. engine bought from H Motors Online w/ 30,000 Miles,
Timing belt, water pump and belt, converted to H23 manual timing tensioner before the engine went in the car,
Prelude Si Intake modified for cold air,
Crower Stainless Exhaust valves,
Fidanza 8lb Flywheel,
Centerforce Dual friction Clutch,
JDM 4-2-1 header,
High Flow Cat,
Custom 2.5 inch exhaust,
Dual Straight Tip,
Oval Can Muffler,
Energy Suspension front Motor mount insert.
Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:
KYB GR2 Shocks,
Suspension Techniques Springs,
16" 1999 Acura CL Mesh Chrome wheels with okay tires,
ebay Front strut tower bar,
Rear Disc conversion,
Prelude SI VTEC master cylinder (1 inch piston), needs Accord EX w/ABS master cylinder (1 inch piston), the rod lengths are different and the prelude one makes the pedal sit lower.
Exterior/Interior:
Shaved emblems, door molding, and rear door handles,
Black Housing Headlights and Clear corner lights,
Dent on the rear bumper and a little in the trunk,
Front bumper is not painted,
interior is gutted except seats, carpet, dash, center console, and front door panels,
Car was broke into a while back, seats, dash, sun visors, and door panels are razor bladed,
White faced reverse glow gauges (glow isnt hooked up but works).
Not on the car (but going with the car):
Upgraded Rotors (from 11.2 to 12.5) but need hub from a 1999 Acura CL 4 cylinder to make them work (Rotor over Hub conversion),
Acura Legend two piston calipers, pads, and brackets. needs the upgraded rotors before installing,
Stainless brake lines for all four corners,
new wheel bearings for the new Hubs,
15" steel wheels with good tires,
shift **** from 92 integra,
"Personal" steering wheel, black suede with red stitching,
NRG black thin quick release hub,
HKS Power Flow Intake,
Black housing Corner lights

Didnt have time to wash it before i took the pictures, since it was almost dark. A couple of them arent too great, but you get the idea. But without further a due here they are.
Heres a photo from me autocrossing back in the day. Photo taken by Kestrel Racing Photography.
The outside of the car as it is now
Rear
The Rear damage i mentioned
Closer shot of the CL Mesh wheels
I have always loved DA shift *****
Engine
The accord PS line and Prelude pump
The interior, not sure if you can see it but the door panel, dash, steering wheel and seats are slashed
Seat
Back seats
Trunk with the steelies
Rear Disc conversion
Shocks/springs
A cluster video on my way home from the drag strip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDyyKGK1wfM
Video at the drag strip, the music is loud because they recorded in front of the speaker, and it drops out of focus toward the end.
