Riverside Grip day! No Cops! Legal event!

Hey guys this is Dennis from Proto Motoring! What do you think about a Grip night at Adams Motor Sports Track? Well Proto has been talking to Troy Adams (owner of Adams Motor Sports Track) about a grip night where people can bring out there car to run the whole track. As most of us know. Every Thursday night at Adams Track, they hold events for drifting. I know there are a lot of you guys out there that want to get on the track but not to go drifting. So we’re planning to open a Grip Night every Tuesday night starting March 24, 2009 @ 5p.m. Entry fee will be $20 dollars a session (1hour) and your car must meet requirements. Now $25 isn’t so bad, You don’t have to worry about cops or any fat tickets and its in a safe environment. Here is a Teaser video for you guys to watch. So come on out and have some fun.
Admission Fees:
- Driving: $20
- Pit Pass/ Ride along: $10
- Spectator: $5
Additional Informations:
- Starts March 24, 2009
- 5pm - 9pm every Tuesday night
- Concessions stand & Snack bar
- Great music including Guest DJ's some nights!
Requirements to race on track:
- Battery properly secured and positive terminal covered
- Engine compartment free of loose items (air filter, hoses, wires, etc)
- No fluid leaks or exposed wires
- Brake lights function properly (at least two red functioning brake lights)
- Seat properly mounted and secure
- Seatbelts properly mounted and secure
- Brake pads and rotors in good condition (min 30% thickness)
- Tires are road-worthy and safe (min 3/32 tread depth, no sidewall damage)
- Wheels and wheel bearings are tight and road worthy
- Windshield is free of cracks which might obstruct the driver's vision
- Helmet is SNELL certified M95 or SA95 or newer and free of damage
- No loose items in passenger compartment or trunk
- Open cars require a roll bar

If only these events went past 9pm... Getting off work at 7pm and driving 1.5 hrs to Riverside just doesn't work...
