Not as pricey as I thought it would be, 3pm to 10 pm would be a pretty good time I think.

I'll pitch in some money as well.

i also agree that the afternoon time slot would work best for reserving the park spot. maybe we should just go ahead and start the meet at 3 since no one is ever on time anyways lol

I think we'll be safe with the northwest or the lake. But that could just be me

i think we need the biggest parking lot they have. i really think this is going to be alot bigger then the ua.com meet in march and that had almost 70 cars show up for that meet. the ht.com meet two years ago had over a hundered cars show up, it might be me but i think we'd be safer getting the biggest spot.

teknik you wanna answer this?

this is what she wrote back to me:

Is this going to be a special event? How many people are you expecting? If it is a special event you need to speak with Craig Cheny in our office, but he is gone until June 21. If it is not you can just call our office and speak to anyone who answers. And surprisingly the Central Terrace is available that day. I will tentatively put your name on it and we will wait for your call. Our number is 483-5473.

Yea I was thinking either terrace of the three terraces by the lake, the northwest is nice cause it's off the main road but it's got a wicked dip/gutter on the road leading towards it (knowing lower cars will be showing up)..... both lake and central terrace have larger parking lots, and central has a more lowered car friendly entrance... I took pics of the signs and some of the lots so when people choose I'll post the pic up in my first page post.

Haha, depends on their definition of special event. We can call it a local import gathering or something, try to keep it away from "illegal terms" because we're not going to do anything like street race or stuff like that. Just a group of people getting together, chilling for a BBQ and such.

Awesomeness that it's open that day. I agree with Teknik, if this seems like it'll be alot of people, then why not get the biggest parking lot. Better safe to have some spots extra rather than not enough imo,

I like the terrace that's kind of in the center of the whole park, and right by the lake. IT's my personal favorite. lol, I think it has a pretty large parking lot as well.

Yea I'd say either lake or central would work and since central is open for that day it'd work out to have it....

I could only hope that them inquiring about a special even would lead to a closed lot to allow us the most parking.... but that's not with out higher cost and as said above they might just deny us....

Well I think just saying a bbq and large gathering would suffice? While leaving out the part about alot of hondas/acuras gathering lol

Well the whole goal is for a group bbq, it just happens that we're a large group of honda/acura/and misc. owners.... I just have the feeling they'd wanna charge more for nothing but I have the hope that they'd have the lot closed off for our uses... I'm leary of saying more than a bbq with out knowing their full intentions.

Either way I'm lookin forward to this meet, just hope my car is in some form of decent shape...

If it isn't, just bring it anyways and go for the ghetto award! Haha, I kid. I agree, that would be hella stupid if they charged extra. Let's hope they don't.

At points I fear my car would fall under that title... but then again it's come a long way from when I purchased it from my buddy....

Count me in. I've been trying to get any old hang-out type meet going through PreludePower for a while now and nobody ever seems to show any interest.

Also, my vote is for the central terrace as well. We did have a highly successful meet a few months ago there and I agree with everyone else who said that more parking = better.

Yeah, we'll try to make this as successful as possible. Perhaps you could post a link on Preludepower as well? Help to spread the word around,

Haha, thanks!

I've decided personally, for this meet, if we can get at least 50+ cars, then it will be a success as far as I'm concerned. Of course, more is always welcome,

Man I can't wait for this! Hope to see at least 1 or 2 people I might've recognized from growing up in Utah.

Any word on the reservations? Since Teknik is the other person in charge here besides Adam, I can hook you up with some cash so we can get the pavillion reserved
