WHERE: Salt Lake City, Utah. Sugarhouse park.
WHEN: September 23rd (Probably 4 pm'ish, set time to come)


Making this official. Myself and TeknikDC2 from Utahacuras.com have talked about throwing a meet together this year, since by my understanding, there hasn't been a large meet thrown together for sometime now. So here we are!

For the time being, the plan is everyone meet's at the Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City. A pavillion should be reserved for us, as well as some parking. I will be providing most of the food, just your typical BBQ stuff. Hamburger's, Hot dog's, Chicken, and Soda.

After this, maybe go for a cruise through some canyon's, to another place and kick it again/do a photoshoot.

Despite it being a Honda meet, everyone and anyone is invited, including any make/model of car. Just looking to see what the Utah scene has to offer, since I obviously missed it while living there for 15 years, If anyone has any questions about this, don't hesitate to ask.

Let's try to get a good turnout for this! SPREAD THE WORD! :D :D :D

you know i'll be there for sure since i'm helping put it together.

But anyways just to add to what adamo said this is a topic to talk specifically about the meet. if you don't have anything to say about the meet then take it to the other thread. I'll also make a sister thread to this on UA.com. Anyways just throw out some ideas.

A couple i thought of to continue in the traditions of past big HT meets is:

Raffle: I don't know how we will do this yet but if anyone is willing to donate money or have hook ups to help make it happen will be appreciated.

Parts Swap: Bring any spare parts you have laying around and see if you can't find anyone intrested in buying them.

Ghetto Award: Yes the infamous Ghetto Award. This is something thats been in many of the last meets and i would love to see again.

These are just a few of the things i've thought of doing with it too along with a cruise up a nearby canyon or something.

Perhaps we need to also see if anyone might have a hookup for a pretty woman or two as "models"...

Although it's very far in the future, I say the people who put their name on the list are the one's willing to plan for this with a degree of certainty.

Another thing we need to search for though: Anyone know a cook who would be willing to offer their services? It's nothing big, just grill some hotdogs/hamburgers,

Also... Which would you prefer. We meet in Salt Lake, go for a cruise, THEN go to the park to eat, or eat, then go for a canyon run? Also... Would people really be willing to do a canyon run or no? Or would people just want to kick back and chill somewhere like State St or somewhere else in SLC?

Perhap's there's a coffee shop we could raid or a 7-eleven.

Yeah I'm a bad cook, keep me away from the grill. haha. I think we oughta have a bbq first then cruise, because this way people wouldnt be lugging who knows how much food/drinks that perhaps they'd rather not carry.

I'm game for a cruise in the canyon etc, it doesnt really matter, as long as it's entertaining If we did a coffee shop, i vote for the SLC Coffee Break, it happens to be one of my more favorable places to go, but unfortunately, I think parking is tight

About Coffee break, the only reason I remember that place is going there at 3 in the morning, and there was hella cops, with someone being escorted out bleeding all over the place...

BBQ then cruise, sounds like a plan. Let's just hope for little traffic to keep the speeds decent,

heh yea I wish...... I actually had tea (not a coffee drinker and NO I'm not mormon), it was because I parked in the handy capped spot but the way they had the signs placed and the lack of paint marking on the ground I missed the fact that it was a handy capped space and thus the 100 buck cup-o-coffee....

Haha, that's funny because I always go there between 1 and 3am or whenever they close I guess I missed the cop incident. I've been going there for years. Parking is in fact horrible at this place, except at 1am, where you can park in the parking lot behind it, which can easily fit around 100 cars. 9/10 times I go there it's empty. During the day time I'm not sure, I never go there at day.

Wish we could get a reserve at MMP, but that'd be expensive wouldnt it? I mean this might just be crazy talk, but if anyone/everyone wanted to go track their car at MMP, we could totally do a collection to reserve the track for a day or hell just a few hours?? Get to go there or something

we've got about 12 commited to it so far on UA.com. More will come as it gets closer. it will be a good turnout though. i can already tell.
