The ghetto award was a bigger hit than I thought I would be. Ill get in touch with the my friends that made the last one and see if we can put together something cool this year. Maybe a trophy with two tears and maybe some awards for other categories. I'll have to see what parts they have sitting around.

damn...how have i missed this thread for so long.
i'm not planning this one though....(unless someone needs help )
we better have more people show up this year than last year.
hey brendan...is the guy with the S2k and everything else showing up?
are we doing a raffle thing again this year? i have an unfinished DC2-R model i can throw in...unless someone wants it (for free).

there are...kinda. 5 bucks to park as long as you want. bring the bbq grills and we can park right next to the lake. you can take I-80 or emmigration canyon road.

We could all just meet at murray park then have a bbq. We could meet by the swimming pool, soccer field, or indoor pool. Somewhere around march 1st. Dusty me and you live right next to murray park so will could make some arrangement there. We could have the getto award, best sleeper, and ricer award. OR something like that.

Dont get too ahead of yourself. You might have the visual ghetto. But wait till you see what's holding one of mine together.
It's gonna be close to the ghetto to that. Damn that's ghetto...
I'm down for March 1st. Murray's good too.

Huh?!! Whatcha talkin' about Willis?
J/K I'll do whatever I can to organize this, but the last one I tried to do last summer sucked...except for the peeps up at Logan who showed up.
Here's my suggestion...a little get-together late feb.-early march..bring your own food, and since lots of us are doing winter projects and might need parts it might be cool to have a little Honda parts swap. Just bring all those parts that are just waisting garage space (Hell, I've got two heads in my garage that won't even fit on my motor ) and be prepared to swap 'em cheap.
Then come summertime, when school schedules aren't such an issue (albeit mine is only six credit hours this semester ), and the weather's much nicer and we can do something a little bit bigger with a BBQ and awards and whatnot.
Any thoughts or suggestion?
BTW, my info is leecravens101@hotmail.com

Re: Anybody from utah. let meet up. (Ibiza)
eww, eww, I just had another thought. My wideband should be here this week and I have a cordless soldering iron. We could always do a little ecu chipping and street tuning too. Just a thought.

Sweet. Texnteg and I did it last year, so we'll do the same again. Anyhow, mini-tune/partswap would be mad cool. a couple suggested Murray park, some suggested Sugar house. I know there would be some good parks in Draper/Sandy but to make it more friendly for our northern friends, sugarhouse would probably be pretty good.
BTW, I am kind of a LED geek and have been making custom lighting setups for my house/room. I want to try my hand at automotive applications so if anyone has an extra set of eg/ek/teg/whatever tail lights that i could retrofit to see if it would be a feasable thing to do lemme know. Ill even give you back the finished product.

Re: Anybody from utah. let meet up. (veggiemaster)
sounds like fun, im in. we had a ghetto honda-tech meet last year in logan during the cruise-in and only like 3-4 cars showed up . this green ej1 with a homemade turbo setup and a white ls turbo that ran high 12's, i think his name was justin. but yea that was one small meet so i am totally interested in another meet. aim: orig1nalkhmersta
