are any of you guys plannin on coming to IDRC at rmr on june 30th. this is the first national import drag racing event to come to utah so they need our support ether by racing or spectating to make this a regular event every year. i plan on racing the type r in the bracket races at the event. thats assuming i have it back together by then cause i took the supercharger off and im waiting on a couple other parts before i can put it back together. and if its runing good with the stock itr base map im putting on it. anyways i hope you guys will make it out there to make this a regular event each year.

i found the base map at xenocron.com under the crome bins. its just a stock map so other then lowering the vtec crossover to 5100 and turning off the o2 sensor to run my wideband ill essintially be running a stock itr ecu lol. ive just got a couple problems to take car of first before i have it running again.

first is the fuel injectors. since ive already had my wiring all redone to use dsm 450cc injectors im trying to find some non turbo dsm 240cc injectors. that way i wont have to rewire my injector clips again and those 240cc dsm injectors are the same size as stock honda injectors so they'll work fine with the itr base map i'm putting on. however there turning out to be a pain in the *** to find. i guess i'll be junkyard hopping this weekend.

second is the air intake temperature sensor. since i bought the car already supercharged i don't have the itr intake manifold. so instead i have a second gen jdm b16a intake manifold. problem is theres not a spot on the intake manifold for the ait like there is on the itr manifold. the sensor was in the intake pipeing on the jdm b16's. so i may have to drill some holes in the intake manifold to mount the sensor. however my roommate ordered a b16 for his civic that will be here on monday. if his has the sensor on the intake manifold we are just gonna trade since he has a edelbrock he's putting on that motor instead.

anyways those are the problems im facing right now lol. hopefully the car will run good and strong with the new map and set up so i can make it out to more drags and autocrosses this year. sorry for the long explinations im just really bored at work.

actually, it's not the first one to come to rmr. But it is the first one in a loooong time. so yeah, if you guys want them to keep having them every year then we all have to go show our support. even thou i'm more into watersports this year i am still going.

when I go to the RMR I get bored waiting for the 16 second or 17 second car to cross the finish line, i would hate to be the guy boring the fans

It'd be my DD, and I dont really want to mess with it....hell i have serious mixed emotions about what I am gonna do....about a week ago i was saving up for a JRSC for the Y8, this week I've decided to not put any performance mods on it and save up for the k-crx

In other news i put 99-00 tail lights on my 98 civic today, to compliment my 99-00 front end, Later tonight I may order a front lip and grill to go with the "si" look.

Do any of you guys recommend a really quiet muffler with a larger than stock diameter tip? I want something that has a tip of maybe 3" but it's still an oval muffler, and quiet. Is a magnaflow muffler a good way to go? I want it to look like oem, just not with the pencil like tip

Apexi WS-2 is real quiet, and real clean looking. Only get's noticable when you stomp on the gas. But it's a little bigger than stock I believe.

Hmm, yeah the ws2 sounds kinda quiet but not way quiet. I wonder....though i am not too fond of how it looks lol

Yeah, it's one of those looks that some people like and some don't, but the exhaust note is most excellent!
