Cool guys I try to make it on Monday. I just don't have the money to rent the tool for the springs. Plus I have never worked on this part of my car before so I lost on how to change out the springs. SWAT stated that we don't need the compressor to change out the springs.

I am gonna do a thermostat in the new swap this weekend. The colder it gets the less my car warms up.

Bro that job is a major Pia if you don't have a bunch of extensions and swivels for the lower bolt on the housing.

I know ive dont it a faw times. Take like 15 min. But i also gotta re seal the other water neck for the upper hose. The retard that owned the gsr the swap came from used a composite gasket on it. Its supposed to be a honda bond gasket and thats it. So its starting to leak.

Your probably more of a mechanic than I am just making sure. There are threads saying that is one of the major pia including rusty rear lca bolts, the bitch pin on the shift linkage and a seized crank pulley bolt.

Question for mechanics : my sister Van takes a while till the heater gets hot, I replaced the thermostat then topped off the coolant but still same problem. its a Dodge caravan, so what's next?

I was thinking check the heater core next and possibly flush the system. Any other common solutions?

Did you bleed the coolant system? does the coolant temp gauge show warm before the heater or does the temp take forever to warm up too?

You need to check the coolant also... if you get the tester from auto zone the coolant should read -35°
