I looked down today and i can't see my feet. It's time to hit the GYM.

Anyone just signed up with LA FITNESS that wants to refer me so i dont have to pay 100$ registration? Ill throw down an andrew jackson (20) for your troubles!

Well the 24 hour fitness in my area (PCH and HAWTHORNE in Torrance) sucks ***. Theres no bball court... its small as hell, for every AC vent that should be above your head, there is a gigantic fan lol.. The bathrooms look like ones similar to El Cantina De Amor Huego Burrito in downtown LA.. dirty dirty... Weight selection is scarce.. and its far from my house. I also heard good things about the one in Redondo but thats a little far too..

have you checked out the center at veterans park..... pretty good and not badly priced.. plus it has a b-ball gym and lots of equipment

I used to workout at the LA fitness in Torrance. It's clean, but just the fact that LA fitness is shaddy made me quit. Over and over again they would try and rip me off for cash. So I cancelled that place. I'm just going to buy my own gym setup and workout at home.

yeah ive heard of stories like that about la fitness...my friend kept getting billed or whatever and they wouldnt refund it... also heard u can only quit through paperwork or something... i hope i wont have my own stories like that...

Yep. You HAVE to keep track of your billing. They once screwed me for 2 months by over-billing me. ******* busted out with they would refund me my cash once I quit? I fucken raised hell, and made them give me my money. I was so ******* pissed that I had to overdraft on my bank account because of their stupidity, but I just ended up getting the cash they took, ofcourse after a fucken hasle of arguments.


And yes, the only time you can cancel is by sending in a paper saying to cancel. They fucked my friend over 3 times, they kept saying they never received it and the account was still active, and he would have to pay. The 4th time they finally cancelled it. As for "Freezing" an account.... you would call today and say freeze, the account goes on for an extra month, and freezes in April. I mean really, who ******* needs it to be frozen in April, when you are lets say, going on vacation this month comming? Iono man. i left that place with ******* anger and bitterness.
