I hope this isn't the last Nisei Showoff.

I remember back in the days, when Nisei didn't have a car show, but it was a week long carnival. There were no "carshow organizers" back then. We used to cruise the streets in our Hondas and at the same time, checking out all the other Hondas, Acuras, Toyotas, etc., that were cruising as well. Knowing that you were going to get a ticket or citation that night, we went anyway. The ticket was our trophy...lol. And after the cruise/carnival, we would all go down to Maria Street in Long Beach and "street race". Hopefully we wouldn't get the ticket there, much rather have it cruising than racing

Just a little "history lesson" for those who are new to our scene/industry. Nisei Week Showoff, goes back a lot farther than you might know of.

If you ever want to know more about how things were back in the early 90's, stop on by Inline Four and we can talk about it sometime.
