Well, I guess my motor is going into K20 heaven. It's gone.
Long story short, my car is knocking hard.
Did I over-rev it? No. It just started doing it. I did a 3rd gear pull, but that's about it. So I'm shitting it right now.
Knocking from 1.5k to 2.5k RPMs...
So I'm ehh...

That doesn't sound right. Are you sure it is knocking? How manymiles are on that engine?

68k and some change.

I know it's knocking because I plugged my ECU into my laptop and counted the knocks. I need to tune it out, but I barely know **** about K-pro.

I didn't even rev it over anything that it was suppose to.

I don't know where i'm going to get the money to do the repair, so it's just gonna be a sitting duck.

Wat kinda gas do u use?? Knocking could be the gas u use too... but I don't think u use shitty gas but u never know

Yeah I know that, but I only use Chevron or Shell 91.. So ehh..

I was in a rush to type, forgot to mention when I was doing a 3rd gear run.
I was shifting into 4th and missed 4th. Didn't over rev it though.

If I were to rev it into higher RPMs like 4k or so, I don't hear any knockings.
The knocking is loud at 2.5k RPM then stops. Revving it in neutral, I would hear the knock.

I was told a bearing.

My K-pro is set where when it knocks, my CEL would flash during the knocks.

weird.. it should knock all the time i think.. and i think if u over revved it then it would bend valves not cause a knock..

For sure I did not over rev it, The stock motor revs to 9k safely, but my redline is set to 8800.

I didn't rev it passed that for sure.

Hey how you guys doing? I got a question for you guys, does anyone have any del sol parts lying around? looking for JDM Visors, Jdm Fogs, Jdm bumper. Its not for me most of you know my fatass wont fit in a del. haha Whats Mo's screen name I cant remember for sh..t haha

also if anyone is interested I have JDM tails, JDM seatbelt conversion plastics that go around the window and and old skool racing seat mount (forgot the brand but it was top of the line back in the 90's) all for a DA I will get rid of the stuff dirt cheap if anyone wants it.

Stolen from Redondo 5:40pm. License plate is something like 2XZJ8?? (sis doesn't know her plate) White 92-93 Accord on stock alloys with no center caps, moon/sun roof, automatic, blue interior i believe, Marine Corp sticker on the back, mickey mouse antenna ball, lots of whinny the pooh interior stuff. African assailants jumped out of a silver or black Nissan car, for some reason they left behind another white 90-93 Accord coupe which they had stolen from a police impound lot! (so now they bring out CSI, [freak]in ********) same package with moon/sun roof, only difference is the interior was burgundy and it has steelies

so looks like this except it's a 2 door

Can anyone help me replace my rod bearings? It's not "hard" right?
And does anyone know how to do a valve lash?
I want to see if my crankshaft is okay. Is there any other "tests" I can do to see if it's another problem?

I'd do this myself, but my knowledge about changing things is not up to date, but I know I need to drop the subframe and oilpan. Blah blah.
