I need to find a good shop in LA, So Cal.....Help?!
Hi everyone, Im new here...
Well like the title says, Im from the Los Angeles, CA area and Im looking for local shop.
Ive already been to VIP Racing in Alhambra (on Valley blvd) and they suck, their customer service is HORRIBLE. Is that all I got to work with? I dont mind drivin out a bit...probably as far as 30-40 mile radius....
Thanks in advance...

if you pickup any d-sport, import tuner, super street, modified, honda tuning magazine etc you can find tons of ads for cali based tuner shops.
You could also try the regional forums on HT as well.
There is a "Southern California" forum:

thats because VIP only has 1 guy running the shop and 1 mechanic...
if you want a good deal, especially on installs, and if your willing to wait awhile... then go to VIP... but u just have to be a little patient....

Re: (dipsy)
It all depends on what you are looking for also. Certain shops specialize in certain types of parts. You have your basic bolt on stuff, then you have the more serious racers shops.
Each has their own specialties.
