Anyone close to San Bernardino that rolls fenders?
i just got new tires on my hatchie and the rear tires are rubbing over every bump i hit (witch is constant in San bernardino.) is there any one that can roll the fenders so it doesn't rub?
or should i just take the time to find the smaller tires? would that be a better solution? this is my first lowered car so im new to non-stock suspension things like this. oh yea, has R15 60 195 tires. it used to have 55 (hence no rubbing) but they are hard to find and more expensive. |
Re: Anyone close to San Bernardino that rolls fenders?
Those are some fat tires. Most run 195/55R15 like you previously had at the most for that size rim. I think more common is 195/50R15. I'd like to ask why you decided to go 60 series instead of 50? And how is it in 10 years you are just lowering your car? LOL

ive been out of the loop for ~5 years. had a 2002 civic then a 2008 civic both coupes. i got a EG hatch for a comuter/project car having traded in the 2008 for a kia soul.
i get all my tires from sears. 60 is all they had. they could have ordered 50's but it was a special order and would have taken about a week to get here. with the rain coming and my previous tires nearly bald, i felt it was time to get new tires now. the car came lowered. i dont know the drop as i have noting to compare it to. i cant stick 1 finger in between the tires and fenders. i hate the rims but it's what was on there so eh. can you tell the drop from this picture? this is with the old tires. |
