Wake up Alabama!

What happened to all the Dixie peeps? This state's been dead forever in the Honda world. Spring isn't that far off. Crickets........

Re: Wake up Alabama!

Im checking back in...been out of it for a while . Last car I had was a 92 eg cx that had a b18b1 swap, si transmission , 450cc injectors, chipped p75 on 10psi. Was a fun car but eventually sold it to a friend of mine. I just recently picked up a 93 hatch shell from my brother. It needs a heater core and the dash put back in and interior pieces found and put back in. Has no motor, trans, mounts, engine harness etc so all of this has to be gotten. It needs a lot of work but ive got a good jump on it so far. Ive already got a d16z6 block that ive already got srp pistons, eagle rods, golden eagle head studs, cometic hg, act clutch already. A friend had all this in his garage and hadn't decided want he wanted to do so I bought it all from him. Next im ordering new acl race bearings, new rings, new oil pump, new timing belt and water pump set, and a gasket set. Debating on replacing the valve stem seals, and the springs and retainers in the head for brian crower while im at it. Going to be doing a 57 trim turbo on this as well before it hits the road just gotta decide how im going to run the setup and what injectors, FMIC, etc. Its a start I guess but its nice to have another hatch and cant wait to finish it.

Wow I can't believe someone finally posted here lol. Nice to see some better weather coming back for a change. I got spring fever now and ready to turn some wrenches.

Re: Wake up Alabama!

lol yea im glad the weather is starting to change for the better. I worked on the car a little this weekend putting a new heater core in it. Running wire harness back through the firewall on the passenger side, and putting the blower motor and such back in so I could reinstall the dash. Still a long ways to go with it but its moving atleast.

Re: Wake up Alabama!

Maybe I can get something/anything done if I can get rid of a headache I've had for nearly a week! The changing of seasons along with the barometric pressure doing a roller coaster ride from day to day is annoying but what do you expect from stupid Alabama weather?!

Re: Wake up Alabama!
