Default Tennessee smog check

Hello ladies and gents. I am going to be moving to Murfreesboro very soon and I am wondering what the rules are for smog checks. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

From the research I have done so far it seems that as long as you have a catalytic convert and a gas cap on your car and the emissions readings are clean it doesn't matter how modified it is. Is this true? I have a turbo integra and I need to know if I need to put it back to stock before I go get my emissions inspection in rutherford county.

They got a mirror to look under your car to see if there is a catalytic converter there. Check your gas cap on their machine. 96-up(OBD II): They plug up the scanner and see if there's any codes. 95-below:tail pipe smog test.

tiger pretty much told you everything you need to know. If you live in a county that does not border Davidson COunty then there are no emmissions(i.e. SMith County)

its ok, but for just a little bit of more cash, you can go down the road to MTSU in Murfreesboro(my soon to be alma mater). It's a better education, the largest school in the state, and you have much more of a variety of classes to choose from.

I checked out MTSU and that is my first choice. But its been 10 years since highschool and I never went to college so I am not sure if I will be "allowed" to attend MTSU right off the bat.

you'll just have to take the ACT or some sort of exam to be admitted. ACT scores are only good for 7 years I believe? May I ask why the move?
