Glad to hear that your court case went well.
Didn't you countersue? How'd that pan out?
I still want to get you to detail my car sometime soon.

Re: (Bro. Darkness)
Let's play the "Diagnose my car problem" game if we can. The problem is my breaks and the car is a 95 DC2. I noticed before the trip to ATL for the NOPI show that my break pedal was fading after coming to a complete stop. Once at a stop, the pedal would fade all the way to the floor causing me to pump the pedal to keep the pressure and keep me sitting still. After leaving ATL, I noticed that the break pedal starts to fade, now, while coming to a stop and still continues to fade once the car has come to a complete stop. As a side note, I am not losing ANY break fluid as a result of this.
With this problem, I can tell its either A) Master cylinder or B) Break Booster or C) Combo of both. I have discussed this topic with my uncle, who is a master mechanic for Nissan, Antony, Justus, and a couple other people here and there and have given them the same description I have given here along with what I think could be going on. All of the above seem to believe it is my Master cylinder and I agree.
I guess I am posting here to see if anyone within this thread has had the same problem (I am sure it has happened to a good bit of us at one point) and which of the two options it turned out to be? I am also posting this b/c I know you guys will be helpful in helping me with the problem. I am going to make the trip to the Charleston HT meet at the end of the month and would feel a hell of a lot safer knowing my breaks will stop me if need be in a hurry.
If you could point me in the direction of least run around and money spending, I would greatly appreciate it!
TIA!

Re: ([Ennis_D])
Sup Travis!
I'm pretty sure thats a master cylinder problem bro. The seals in the master cylinder are worn causing the fluid to leak pass them.
Actually my EG used to do the same thing and I replaced the master cylinder on it.
Look to pay around $220.00 and $275.00 for the master cylinder assembly.
Hope this helps you out bro!

And the man himself comes through with his word! I was beginning to think that I had once again posted a problem with my car and ran everyone and their brother off the boards.
But on a serious note, I am thinking master cylinder also. I was thinking what you said with the seals being bad. Now only thing is going to be finding a master cylinder that I can use until my broke college *** can scrounge up the money. I am sure nobody is cool enough for that though

Re: ([Ennis_D])
No problem bro.
A new one for your car will run between $220.00 and $275.00 from the Acura dealer.
I'll also keep an eye out for a good used one for you.

Yeah, I am def not going to pay that! Have been thinking about using an ITR 1in master but I dont like the $100 price tag slapped on them...plus I am dead broke.
If you could keep an eye out, that would be awesome! I def appreciate it!
Anyone in here happen to have one or know anyone who does?
