Texas Peeps Help! Need a machine shop in Killeen or Dallas
 

Right now I am stationed at Fort Hood but I do spend a lot of time in DFW because that is where my family is. Anyone have any recommendations on a good machine shop here in Killeen? If not I'll settle for one in the DFW area after I get out in the next few months. I'm just trying to get a rebuild done before I get out. This is what I'm looking to get done if the price is right:


Block:
Hot tank
Hone Cylinders
Resurface deck
Crank Cleaned and Polished and plasticguage Journals.
clean rods w/ pistons oil pickup tube and pan

Head:
Hot tank cleaned in out and resurfaced
pressure tested
3 angle valve job
replace seals
port match im with head

I will provide the valve seals, Valve springs, gaskets and bearings.

RtR's owner Russell is one the top honda builders around central texas, but I do not think he does machine work, but give it a try and call him.

For machining I go to a shop called Garvin's Machine shop, I've been going there for the past 3 years for my motor builds and can say he has decent prices and always has business, if I can recall he does not do port matching for aluminum. Here is the shop's adress and number.
