oklahoma vs california (smog testing)
 

does anyone know about smogging? is it easier in oklahoma then cali? can i get away with more? just curious cuz im moving out there. I dont need the info for my slow em2 but for my 240 sr20

everything is more strict in cali. i dont know how it is in oklahoma but you cant get away with shit in cali.

bro i heard u can get a ticket just for having a BOV in cali. and its not even somethin thats gonna give u HP but still get a ticket for ''illegal mods''

you can definitely get away with it more here in oklahoma.

the cops here arent strict on mods really.

yah man..... its so strict here... i believe the bov thing... ive gotten a ticket for modified tailights. it was a back up till oem. lol but had all functions of stock lol

yeah its ridiculous cali, ive gotten a ticket for being to low. apparently if you cant fit a can under the side thats illegal. :thud:

I'm from Oklahoma they have no smog mod laws the most you get pulled over for is a loud exhaust and thats just because they want to be dicks there is not even a test place here for smog.

Haha depends on where your at not nearly as big as cali but the people are friendly. OKC can be cool but there aren't to many nice 7th gens out here. I live up in Stilly there are none up hear. Weathers nice right now. The one cool thing is if your into Autocross we have a lot of scca and local events in Oklahoma.

haha my em2 is anything but clean haha... its a dd thats completely messed up haha. not rice just messed up. it going to be a lot of work. as far as ok i will be moving to tulsa in 2 months. goin with fam this weekend to look for place
