HOSS (home of the SuperSport) is proud to present Impalafest! A yearly carshow for B-body (94-96) Impala SS, and caprice's, and they host an OPEN CLASS division where everyone's welcome. Last year we had a great turn out with plenty of nice B-body's, plus the local corvette club got involved, and we had a few camaro's, etc. come out. This year, i thought it'd be a good idea to try and get some imports to come out, and road race, and enter the car show

i'll be taking my ls/vtec hatch, assuming i can finish it, so if anyone wants to come with, feel free

i remember some MR2's going, and i think i saw a miata also, so the more variaty of cars we have, the better!

CAR SHOW:

Open Division Car Show
Stock and Modified vehicles will compete against each other in the Open Division so cleanliness and detailing is very important.
Owners are advised to bring and display safety gear such as tools, gas can, water, oil, brake fluid, as they provide a few bonus points as do any vehicle information, displays, trophies, etc.

Every vehicle is welcome from daily drivers to trailer queens.
Open Division Vehicles will compete by the decade groups designated below.

What is the cost?

If a person wanted to participate in everything they would pay the following.
Registration - $75
Road Course Racing - $25
Total - $100
*** Late Registration after 08/20/2008 or at the hotel or the location of the event is an additional $25.

12:00pm-7:00pm Registration at Marriott Champion's Circle Hotel Across from TMS
Friday Night Drag Racing at Denton Drag Strip, Contact Cheston Phillips for more info.
7:00pm Car Show Judges meeting at Host Hotel
8:00pm Cruise to Joe T. Garcias http://www.joets.com
A Party bus for Joe T's will be available for ImpalaFest revelers.

Saturday September 27

8:00 a.m. - Registration at Texas Motor Speedway opens
8:30 a.m. - Cars must be parked for show
9:00 a.m. - Driver's Meeting for Road Course
9:30 a.m. - Judging Starts
12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Lunch Break
4:30 p.m. - Car Show over
4:45 p.m. - Everyone must leave track
6:00 p.m. - Trophy Presentation at Host Hotel, Marriott Champions Circle
????? - Parking Lot Party (will begin as soon as trophy presentation is over)
Sunday September 28

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - 1st Annual HOSS Picnic Road Rally

i've been going to the event for the past few years, and its really fun, and the road racing is awesome! alot of great people to meet, and some BADASS cars to see! hopefully we can expand this, and get some more H-T members to go, youre support is much appreciated!

if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me! i've been going for the past few years, so i could answer some questions if anyone has any!

i also got word that SCCA is going to the same road course on sunday, and they'll let you run for $35-$45... i might do that too depending how i do on saturday!
