It is a pretty straigth foward installation.
When working on a particular piston, raise it to TDC so there is no chance of the valve sliding in to far in the combustion chamber. Also take extra care not to lose those half cone locking the valve, springs and retainer in place (I had to order a few of those from Acura after I lost one).

If I am not mistaken the install height is the minimum height the spring should be after installation so it does not "bottom out" when compressed by the camshaft lobe (creating excessive wear on the retainers, rockers, lobes...). If the install height is lower then spec, you would need to machine the spring sitting surface to lower it a little.

Also use the specs from Toda when adjusting lobe to rocker clearance (valve adjustment) 0.2mm for all valves if I remember correctly.

ok so just follow normal proceedure for installing valve springs. the once everything is done check the hieght?
your saying it shouldnt be shorter ( or is it taller) than **1.325 installed Height.

also im doing this with head off the car... so i cant keep it at TDC, any other suggestions that would help me out.

i dont want to start untill i deffinatly know what i am doing.

head off the car, dont worry about the tdc thing.
as far as install height, you probably dont have to worry about it with those
small cams. toda springs give you A LOT of leeway.

Next time, use a magnetic parts retriever to grab the keepers when you push down the valvespring. When they are oily, They are really hard to grab by hand.

When doing valve springs, try a little Honda power steering grease (vasoline) on the valve keepers/retainers. It is amazing how few keepers you will lose.

If your looking for a great shop to buy/install Toda parts, I would suggest Vroom Vroom Motorsports in sacramento. The owner Edison is very knowledgable and deals with TODA on a consistant basis.
