Default K & N oil filters

Anyone in here using them on their ITR? I've been using HP-1004 and I like it..

seems like a good filter although I haven't really looked at tests and stuff for it..

I have one on my R now. I found a dozen Mobil1s, so I will be using those up in spring/summer and choose a different filter after that. Tough to find actual flow ratings from Champion Labs (manufacturer), but the consensus is 12-16 gallons per minute, and they do filter down to 20 microns. Just for comparison, Mobil1's oil filter filter down to 10 microns. Thick filter casing is a plus also on the K&Ns.

I think the K&N Filter that goes into the Stock Air Box is SER# E2427.

Can Someone Confirm. Thankx.

The post starter is talking about Oil Filters, not air filters.

I'd give them a try if I could find any locally.

Otherwise I just use HAMP.

On other cars I recommend Bosch or AC Delco

Ha - That's what you get for doing Honda-Tech at work. Sorry about that...Opps.

As for OIL & Filters, This really long thread (this is page 25) is about the start testing the flow rates (and other things) of all the different filters. So watch this spot. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=163845&page=25

Thankx to:- Ginsu1797, Bror Jace & others.
