Default A/C compressor and fan, radiator fan - not working

Hi,

New guy here.

Air Conditioning problems in Gen 2 2011 Insight
I am trying to find the problem with the A/C in this car. The problem started with the AC not staying cold. Checked the pressure with a gauge set and it was low. While trying to find the leak (with dye) the A/C stopped working altogether, meaning the compressor and fans weren't working when AC was turned on.

Finally found a leak in the condenser. Changed the condenser, compressor (had a problem with the clutch last year that was fixed with an aftermarket clutch), and finally I changed the AC pressure switch after the troubleshooting guide in the service manual suggested it was a possible cause. I then pulled a vacuum and tried to refill the refrigerant (I have a gauge set to check all the pressures). Some refrigerant went in but the compressor didn't kick on to drawn in more.

After all this the A/C compressor and fans still don't work. The fans will run if I unplug the pressure switch so I assume they aren't faulty.

I also tried switching the three relays around.

Any suggestion for tracking down the problem? I have an OBD2 reader (Bluedriver) but there are no error codes.

I also ran the self diagnostics for the climate control and there are no faults. There are 2 trouble codes in memory from the DTC but I don't know how old they are. The codes are as follows:
"B" / B1205 "Climate control unit lost communication with gauge control (VSP/NE message)
"C" / B1206 "Climate control unit lost communication with gauge control (coolant temp message)

I don't have a Honda compatible scanner (HDS) to fully track down these two codes. I did what I could without it - which included changing out the pressure switch.

Climate Control Symptom Troubleshooting:

- no climate control DTC - screen goes blank after going through the test procedure.
- Fuses are all OK
- I don't know where to find all the terminals,

When starting the Compressor clutch circuit troubleshooting, there is this message in the service manual

Anyone have any suggestions for how to proceed? Short of taking it in.

TIA

There should be a data PID for the AC pressure sensor. See if it agrees with your gauges.

Thanks for your response. I don't know what a data PID is? My Blue Driver scanner does not pick up any codes. I did replace the pressure sensor to see if that would fix the problem.

Does your scan tool have a live data function? The AC pressure should be in that data.

Trying to eliminate the new sensor as being a problem.
