Default Mishimoto Slim Fans mounts fell apart.

I put two 12" Mishimoto slim fans in my '90 Integra when I put in the '96 B18C. Their mounting system fell apart. The zip-tie like anchors break and fan clips fall out. It's junk. I'm very surprised this company does this and they won't replace them "life time warranty" as they advertise. Not with out the receipt, which I purchased 3.5 years ago. I don't mind taking photos of them, but they wanna put you threw a bunch of problems.

Their mounting system is JUNK.
To purchase the two kits for 18-19 bucks they want $19.83 for shipping a couple OZs that would fit in a padded envelope (mounts that'll fall apart every 3 years). The company is a scam. So now I have to put my OEM fans back in. I'm sure glad I kept them.

The parts are also out of stock everywhere else in the world. Might as well can them and put on my OEM fans.
What junk.

Buy Spal fans. They are OEM for many applications.

And everyone knows the zip tie through the radiator core is bad practice. Build/buy a fan shroud that bolts to the fans and factory fan mounts on the radiator. Better performance and no falling apart.

Yeah, I agree. No shroud made for the DA. You can get a single fan shroud, no double. Making one is problematic, time consuming and possibly expensive. When I installed my 96 b18c, I kept the AC and power steering.... If I put my OEM fans back in, the motors are gonna be very close to a lotta heat on the driver's side.

For now, I'll just have to pull the radiator and use new mounts. I need to keep the car on the road. This time I'll glue the fan clips to the fans so when a tie breaks I won't lose the clips.

Spal fans?
added. I looked at these...over $500. Certainly not intended for my car...and little data about the shroud itself. Might fit but too expensive. They (12") pull 100 amps at startup.

I run a pair of Spals as pushers on my K24 CR-Z.

They have a couple dozen variants. They aren't cheap but they are OEM reliable and move some air!

They did work with me to reduce shipping cost, but I still ordered everything new. It's not a permanent solution, but I don't have the time at the moment to do anything else.

Always time to do it right the second or third time.

Yeah, when I did my b18c swap...it was during a cold winter. Took me 3.5 months. At the end, I was dubious about the fan mounts, but went ahead. I did everything else in very good fashion. At the moment I'm working on an aeronautic project that takes all my time. That has priority at the moment.

Stainless plumber's tape and fiberglass. Maybe not, but it's worth a look.

I've got quite a bit of light and medium glass left over from my sailboat, and fresh Aeromarine epoxy....and the tape. If I can form stand-alone mounts. It might work.
