Hello --

I had a very tight fit furniture box in my Civic and it broke the latch / switch that folds the back seat down. I bought a new one online and it seemed very easy, but when I got in there, I had trouble removing the very last part, that looks like an Allen Wrench. There's a plastic part that is two half circles with a gap at the top and the bottom that keeps it in. It seems pretty flimsy, so I was very concerned about breaking this part and exacerbating my problem, so I took a break. (Also, I am a tall person and it is very uncomfortable to get there). It may be very simple but I'd rather look dumb asking the question than breaking a part that's even harder to replace.

You have to rotate the plastic clip off the metal rod before pulling out the metal "L"shape rod.
